Harmonic Fields is a large scale installation created by internationally acclaimed French artist and composer, Pierre Sauvageot (Lieux Publics, France).
The experience is an interactive musical soundscape consisting of 500 Aeolian instruments that are played powered only by the wind. Audiences experience an enchanting musical soundscape as they move amongst the instruments. The installation uses a mixture of conventional and purpose built instruments for example, metal and wood cellos, strings, flutes, Balinese scarecrows, sirens, gongs, harps and bamboo organs.
