Hartlepool five-piece MARKETPLACE are quickly becoming one of the North East's most exciting emerging indie-pop bands. Having gained support from BBC Introducing, BBC Radio 1 presenter Jess Iszatt and a growing list of industry tastemakers, the band have built a reputation for infectious melodies, energetic live performances and a sound influenced by artists including Alvvays, Declan McKenna, Pulp and Talking Heads.

Fresh from the release of their debut EP, the group are attracting attention across the region and beyond, supporting acts like Alfie Templeman, Swim Deep and The Lottery Winners.
