Golden Grooves Street Collective, featuring Band in a Day

Experience the energy and excitement of a one-off pop-up band. Oi Musica and Golden Grooves Street Collective – a 9-piece joyous street band - will create a band in a day with local brass players and drummers of all ages to put together a high-energy finale performance at the Riverside. 

After a day spent rehearsing and making music together, this unique intergenerational ensemble will perform a lively outdoor performance filled with energy, rhythm and community spirit.

Come along, soak up the atmosphere and experience the joy of this unique band united by rhythm and brass - this spectacular performance is not to be missed!

If you’d like to be part of the Band in a Day project, which features walking with the band in the iconic Carnival at 2pm, and then performing later in the day, you can sign up here.

This opportunity is open to children ages 10 plus and adults who play brass, reed or drum and percussion.
