Générik Vapeur is a musical street theater company, created in 1983 by Caty Avram (rock cantactress) and Pierre Berthelot (comedian of gear).
The troupe usually brings together about twenty artists-technicians with multiple skills (from aerial to video, from construction to musical and theatrical creation ...), to create in the public space to the scale of the city or landscape. Passionate about industrial wastelands and the memory of places, the company chooses as metronome, the socio-poetics of cities and landscapes, to play in images and melodies. Since 2010, Générik Steam is installed in the City of Street Arts (Marseille, 15 th ) place of experimentation and local development and international street art, unique.
