Rivers of the World Installation

The Rivers of the world installation is the product of a two-year international programme that involves 16 schools from across the Tees Valley.

The pupils have worked with artists Rachel Laycock and Emma Wheetman of BloomInArts to interpret the River Tees whilst connecting to a partner school in Lebanon. The project encourages young people to explore and reflect on local and global issues, giving them the experience to build the skills they need for life and work in a global society.

The work displayed is a culmination of creative workshops that have explored many different disciplines.
