This year’s SIRF Community Carnival has moved to Sunday 1 August at 1:15pm and will bring together community groups for a spectacular parade not to be missed. 

The Carnival begins with a parade of hundreds of performers from local schools and community groups, many dressed in colourful costumes, in this years theme 'Junk for Joy'. 

The vibrant parade will pass along Stockton High Street leading to the Riverside where you can enjoy a full day of live entertainment, dance and street theatre, plus our adrenaline filled, high-wire finale spectacular.

Times:

1:15pm: The Parade begins on Church Road before turning left onto Stockton High Street. It will travel along the High Street passing the Town Hall and The Shambles before turning into Tower Street and looping back along Riverside Road.

1:45pm-9:30pm: The Parade will arrive on Stockton Riverside for a full day of performances, including live music, family entertainment and our finale, including:

  • 5.45pm - 7pm - Live music from The Wildcats of Kilkenny
  • 7pm - 7.45pm - Live Music from Bagdaddies
  • 7.45pm - 9pm - Live music from Edward II

9pm - 9.30pm - Finale show, Unity by Gorilla Circus
